How do you design an interactive museum experience? We dive into the past and try to convey the story of medieval artists to high school students. Social interaction, education and fun are important criteria.

Concept

We created an interactive experience called ‘Het Verbond’. In the museum the high school students will recieve a tablet with our app on it. In the Teniers and Breughel room they will play four mini-games. In those mini-games the students learn to look at the paintings in a different way than they are used to. Therefore the students will better understand the background and story of the paintings. They will form a story for themself and learn to look at art with their own creative fantasy. With our experience we make art fun again, learn the students to work together in teams and create a interaction between the museum and the students.
